A gallon count, not a promise.
Guideline only, not a stocking promise. Count about 50 gallons of pond for each goldfish and about 200 gallons for each koi, so the fish have room to grow. Filtration, shade, and plants matter as much as gallons. A new pond should start with fewer fish than this.
